About the Role
We're looking for a passionate developer intern who wants to learn and grow in WordPress plugin development. You'll work alongside experienced developers, contribute to real projects, and gain hands-on experience in building innovative WordPress solutions.
This is a 6-month internship program with the possibility of a full-time position based on performance.
What You'll Do
- Learn WordPress plugin development under mentorship
- Write clean, maintainable PHP and JavaScript code
- Assist in developing new features for our plugins
- Debug and fix issues in existing code
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Learn best practices in WordPress development
- Collaborate with the team using Git and project management tools
What We're Looking For
- Basic knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Understanding of WordPress basics (themes, plugins, hooks)
- Eagerness to learn and grow
- Good problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of Git version control
- Good communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with WordPress plugin development
- Knowledge of MySQL/database design
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Understanding of OOP principles
- Portfolio of personal projects
